Hill features

A Recent Trig Point has been built which commerates those who died in the Covid-19 Pandemic. The plaque also shows the visible hills which can be seen from the summit including Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, Great Whernside and Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales. Nearby the summit is Robert Wilson's grave who's body was found there after being stranded on the beacon in severe weather in 1805. 

The Pennine Way passes over the summit.
