Crag features

High altitude crag (2100m) with 3 sectors of high-quality, SE-facing serpentine. A mix of technical, balancy climbs and some steeper, more powerful routes in a beauitufl setting at the end of the Ayas valley.

Approach notes

Follow the Ayas valley to Saint-Jaques, where you can park near the parish church. Follow footpath #7 towards Lago Blu as far as the village of Fiery. Walk through the centre of the village and stay on footpath #6 for a short distance until reaching a small bridge. Do not cross the bridge but keep going on the right to the crest of a small ridge where, after a grassy stretch, you encounter a path that grows more obvious as you proceed. Continuing uphill, the various sectors come into view. To reach the first - Valetta - deviate left towards a small grassy valley, then ascend directly towards the crag. Continuing along the footpath leads to a fork, turn left along the TMR footpath uphill. Shortly after there is a cairn indicating the way to Settore Intermedio, which is reached across the scree in a few minutes. Keep going further still along the TMR path and you reach a panoramic viewpoint. Below it lie Settore Belvedere pitches.
