Approach notes
Start from the Wasdale Head and cross to the west side of the steam using the Packhorse Bridge. Follow the public footpath (initially walled) past occasional NT footpath marks. Finally a stile and then a boulder field come into view, The Y-Boulder is towards the bottom of the boulder field. About 30 minutes.
Access Advice
Sheep and Cows in the fields. Take care with dogs.
