The Northern side of Mount Harriet has a large range of steep broken rocks which promises little. Climbing is available on the South side of the mountain at its West end. Looking from the Stanley road there is an obvious, fine and steep buttress over 30m high. There are some truly excellent climbs on the main face and there is scope for more. The rock is sound and it offers good protection.
Park in the carpark on the Stanley road at the base of Mount Harriet and follow an intermittent path cross country to the base of the obvious main face.
