Malvallon is a group of limestone cliffs, typical of the Calanques, but set in the valleys on the South side of the Marseilleveyre summit. Cliffs are mostly S-SE facing sport routes of grades 6-7, mostly with 1-2 pitches, on technical slabs. A few crags with longer multi-pitch trad or aid routes can be found throughout the area.
Access can be gained via Callelongue, following the main hiking trails East and then North once reaching the calanque of Marseilleveyre. Can also be approached from the trails to the North of the Marseilleveyre summit, through the Col des Chèvres or Col de la Selle passes. Parking at either Callelongue (following the coastal road from Les Goudes) or in the suburb of Grotte Rolland.
