Climbs 45
Rocktype Limestone
What a view! © JohnHartley
Great little crag if you live locally. Problems were originally entered from a free guide supplied by lakesbloc.com. However that guide is no longer available. The rock down by the sea is limestone. The rock in the woods is a black grit type rock.
Some of the routes are on the coast line, down by the water. Others are in the wooded area above the church
The landowner - the National Trust - have asked that no climbing takes place on the boulders below the Viking graves which form an ancient monument here. In particular the problem "Stardust" is not to be climbed on as it tops out directly into the graves. The Trust are happy for the other bouldering around Crag in the Woods to continue.
