Grotto Mountain located 5.5km east of Canmore and 4.2km northwest of Gap lake. There is a 2660m summit 1.5km to the north-northeast.
Approach notes
From the east side of Gap Lake on Highway 1A (5.9km west of Exshaw), hike up through open forest and slopes of the southeast ridge to a large pillar.
