Rockfax Description
A long and impressive traverse that finishes on Yellow Wall. Start in the triangular niche as for Pel.
1) 4c, 30m. As for Pel P1.
2) 5b, 22m. From the right-hand end of the ledge, climb up to the higher break-line (as for North West Passage) and follow this until the angle eases. There is a belay below on a good spike.
3) 4a, 20m. Move right and up to a break. Walk right until a corner. Down climb just before this and belay on a ledge at the base of the steepening. See p.382 for route line from here.
4) 4b, 22m. Climb up onto a hanging slab and traverse in a wild position, past a couple of narrowings, to a steep corner-groove. Belay just before this.
5) 5b, 15m. From the belay, move up and right into to a rock scar. Carefully climb the arete to the right of the scar. © Rockfax
