Restricted Access
In early 2021, bolts appeared in the quarry on an existing route (first lead in 1981) and will be removed. Bolts are NOT welcome and should only ever placed in line with local agreements:
- To replace existing bolts when there is no alternative
- Where specifically agreed after discussion at an area meeting
- Where required in order to secure access.

Dates: 1 June to 30 June
Reason: Nesting Birds
1 June 2023: kestrels reported as nesting on Central Arete - please avoid routes around here until the birds have fledged.
