βeta: Route in SMC scrambles guide is unhelpfully vague to the point of being dangerous. The start crumbly wall has a vague path to it but it's horrible to climb, falling down around you. Avoid. In fact, just ignore the guide once you have parked; there is plenty of good rock about from g1 to diff, and it is broken enough that you can escape or wander to check out the top before committing to a section! The new deer fence also makes the approach more tricky as you need to find an appropriate point to climb over it. | βeta? | |
