Short wall with a set of reasonable routes which are good for learning to lead on. The routes are quite steep but well bolted and with plenty of holds. They are also a little chipped and glued for grade consistency. There is a small wall with easy routes a little further right (looking in).
Guidebook says:
"8/10m east-facing slabs, 5 minutes from the parking".
It is in fact 8/10m south facing walls and you will cook here if you were trying to find some afternoon shade!
Park at a small lay-by on the D518, to the north of Chapelle-en-Vercors. If approaching from Chapelle then you can just see the crag on the hillside up and left about 2km after leaving the village. A small path leads from the parking spot directly up the hill to the crag. The beginners' sector is to the right and the main sector is to the left.
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
