From Sleepy Bay carpark, head up Mount Parsons and scramble up and down the ridgeline to Mount Amos via Mount Baudin and Mount Dove. The path is marked by cairns and white paint but is easy to lose, so the trip can be as much of an adventure as you make it. Panoramic views, crazy granite blobs, plenty of foliage. Take plenty of water as there is none to be found enroute, and a rope may/may not be required depending on the route you take and the competency of your party. The tree is in! If you only have one car, it's a 3km road walk back to the carpark.
