The Treasure Trove boulder © EddieTJ
A large erratic Gneiss boulder perched on a sandstone cliff, hidden in the woods on the bank of the river Nairn east of Inverness.
Park considerately in the layby close to the bridge. (57.4610873, -4.0981274) Cross the bridge and turn right to go over a stile follow the river upstream until a small broken sandstone crag line appears. Follow this to reach the boulder which sits ontop of the small crags. (approx 15mins)
