Crag features
Bouldering/training venue providing 2-dimensional (board-style) problems at approx 25deg overhanging. Tides only affect it for an hour or so around high tide.
With the abundance of holds, there is with plenty of scope for harder eliminates and variations of the database problems which are the most obvious and easiest.
Approach notes
To reach it, turn into Boddam as you would for Promontory Wall but continue into the village down through the back streets looking out for Bridge Street on you right.
Head down Bridge Street and park on the left before the lighthouse bridge. Once over the bridge, go down right immediately and follow the stone steps to the base of the wall. (1 minute approach!)
| Dont forget your trowel! Feel free to do some gardening,there are really good holds hidden under the vegetation which you will find very welcoming as the top-outs tend to be very intimidating. GrahamJ - 04/Nov/12 |
