Up to 60m high. Very mossy in places! Sidetrack(VS), Gormenghast(E1), Bellerophon(VS), Mean Feat(E3).
Prone to seepage in places e.g. P1 of Gormenghast
Turn off the main path by the bog at 54.41238432, -3.20893513 onto a hidden sheep track through the bracken.
Dates: 1 March to 30 June
Reason: Nesting Birds
Signed restriction, applies to the whole crag.
The site will be monitored and the restriction lifted if nesting does not take place, or later if the young birds fledge early. This page will be kept updated as soon as any additional information is received.
Abseil is possible from the top on 50m ropes. Currently there is tat a bit to the right (facing out) from the top out of Gormenghast. trying.soft - 02/Sep/22 |
