Recently developed Limestone Sport Climbing area NW of Khon Kaen in Thailand. At this time the area has six walls with ongoing developments. These are as follows: Boneyard wall, Covert Crag, Pha Noi, School Wall, Shangri-La & The Window.
The area has been developed by the Khon Kaen Climbing Club which notes: Amper Si Chompu the first sport climbing area of Khon Kaen. It is about 2 hour drive from down town Khon Kaen. There are a lot of tall lime stone mountains in the area and bolting process started in 2016 and still on going. KKCC is trying to set up more routes and put more bolts in.
70 meters rope is RECOMMENDED for most of the crag in Khon Kaen. We bolted long routes. Some of the routes need to be rappel from the bolted anchor
Google 'Si Chomphu District, Khon Kaen'. On highway 201, it's on the opposite site of the road passed Phu Pha Man National Park. Open the info on each wall for location details.
