Crag features
Peña Agujas presides over Circo de Cebolledo, the centrepiece of San Isidro ski resort. It is a fully developed mountain valley; as such, one ought to expect busy car parks, slopes with skiers and even music blaring out of loudspeakers.
On the other hand, the rewards are: short approaches, being able to assess conditions from a car park, and grabbing a winter climb if only half a day is available or even as part of a resort skiing day.
Approach notes
From the Cebolledo ski resort car park, head up on the edge of any chosen ski piste, in the most unobstrusive possible way, directly towards the intended objective, always in sight.
Forty five minutes from the car park or only five if you use the lifts and are on skis.
