A relatively unclimbed bit of the coast with a few bouldering spots that are rarely climbed. There is some untapped potential for more boulders and some short trad routes/highball boulders. Unfortunately, the rock is generally poor, banded sandstone that is typical of Orkney mainland's west coast. Climbing is generally on horizontal ledges of varying widths and it can be difficult to trust your feet on the thin, friable layers of sandstone. Much of the rock is also affected by seepage after rain and the good bouldering is generally only accessible at lower tides.
Park at the cemetery or on the bend of the road if you can. Walk along the old farm track to the coast and then continue round for a few minutes until the path diverges towards the sea. The most accessible climbing is in a geo quite near where the path diverges. Walk further along the coast to explore and see what you can find.
