Approach notes

From Via Tiberina, turn into Via della Doga and follow the signs to Abbazzia to San Cassiano and Fonte di Santa Rosa. Continue on this road passing under a railway tunnel. Continue along the river past the ruins of the "Ponte Augusto" keeping to the right until the road becomes gravel. Park at the end of the gravel road park where the abandoned railway converted into a pedestrian/cycle path begins. From here, continue on foot and after the first tunnel, immediately turn left onto the first narrow road you see, which initially climbs steeply, then softens and becomes flat. Follow the yellow signs and stone cairns. About 15 minutes from the parking lot.
