Rocktype UNKNOWN
Altitude 1589m a.s.l
The obvious cliff right next to Hovk village. Not the much larger cliffs high up above Hovk. Good potential for new routes. Some nice limestone faces and ribs, short walk-in and not far from main road. Roughly 500 metre height difference from base of first bit of rock to the top. Not contiuous climbing, but possible to link sections up.
Park in Hovk village or on the road coming into town. There are a couple of paths over towards the very obvious cliffs to the west of the village. Climbing is possible anywhere, but after about 1km walking from the village, there is a clean rib of rock up to the right. This provides about 150 metres height gain of grade 2/3 scrambling.
No known access issues. The Dilijan National park border passes right through the cliff, so any bolting will need permission
