A selection of delightful sport crags situated on limestone pillars just to the north of Hofpürglhütte. Mostly single pitch, the bolts have been installed by folks at the hut and are in good condition. The route density is a little high at times, but there's something for everyone. Facing all ways means there's sun and shade at any time and the views of the surrounding mountains including the Dachstein are fabulous!
The only vehicle entry now (as of 2022) is via the toll booth at Filzmoos (€5.50 for a regular car). You have to park in a small lot in front of a barrier (47.456849, 13.515583) and hike approximately two hours up to the hut - general access for public vehicles any higher up the mountain is no longer possible.
