Approach to Deepdale © Peter Reynolds
Boulders scattered in an area of hillocks (moraine) at the head of Deepdale valley. Boulders up to 3 m high and are composed of very grippy rock. The landings are flat and grassy but some likely to be soggy during wetter months. Some nice pools in the river for a dip on the way down. Bring a brush and a tarp. 45 min walk from parking at Bridgend. Good path but some leg work required between boulders due to nature of the terrain.
