The prominent, awe inspiring granite mountain offers hundreds of meters of granite scrambling and climbing.
Approach notes are all from the coast/ landing bay at 65°51'09.9"N 37°31'49.7"W
For the West and North West of Nîniartivaraq , head up the steep vegetated slope (with delicious patches of berries to enjoy at the right time of year) then follow the river round to the NW. Walk up the valley. The SW face of the mountain is on your right. To reach the West Ridge, pick a line up the steeper ground to reach the col, then scramble up and left from the col to reach the solid rock.
For routes on the South ridge or East face, follow the river North to the point the valley bends round to the NW. Instead of following this, take the moraine up towards the glacier until it is possible to turn left and pick your way up the boulder-field slope. You'll top out on a rise which can be followed around to the base of the South ridge, passing a small stream on the way.
