Crag features

Many thanks to Graeme Read for descriptions and details.

Situated high on the moors between Longframlington and Rothbury this esoteric venue offers a small selection of good problems in a remote setting, with generally decent grassy landings. The blocs face North East and at an altitude of nearly 300m therefore can take a while to dry out following the winter months and any prolonged wet spell. The best times to visit are during the spring and early summer.

History
While it is impossible to conclude that the blocs haven’t been visited in the past by inquisitive boulders, there is no documented record of any development. Graeme Read began development in 2020, on occasion joined by Bob Smith and Gary Hunter.
