Climbs 12
Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 314m a.s.l

Crag features

A couple of large sandstone boulders at the base of a beautiful creek, Landings for a good few problems have been washed away in high waters, but can easily be built up again with stones and wood in the drier months.

Engine bloc is the first big bloc on the right just before the large rusted metal "engine box"

Without a Paddle bloc is the second bloc found low to the left besides the river next to a small grassy area.

Oasis bloc is tucked 25m downstream from Without a paddle next to small orange pool and waterfall, over the water landing is need for this bloc, but well worth it at the grade

Approach notes

Parking is best in a forestry entrance at the crest of the Rhigos Road just as it heads downhill towards treherbert. From here you can cross the road, head through a gap in the fence, and carry on walking along the main path, parallel to the road. When you reach a memorial stone head right towards the steep hill, about 20-30 meters you will pass some old fence posts. At this point, veer slightly left cutting across the steep hill (rather than going straight down) via a vague path in the grass until you get to what looks like a proper track all the way down the steep hill. At the bottom, turn left along a smaller track and continue following this around the cliff side where you will come across a cracking waterfall. You will find "Without a Paddle boulder sitting alongside the river at the bottom of the hill down by the waterfall.
