Four distinct outcrops within a small area, giving bouldering and routes. Map pin not accurate, development in proogress.
Nobodies cave lies in the corner of the river under the big wall. It is best accessed by parking in the bays next to the railway bridge with the bench, walking over the main railway bridge back towards Sunderland Bridge and crossing the fence straight after the bridge down into the hill. The map pin is on the cave.
The rest of the walls are accessible by the first parking bay by the gate as you leave the village. Walk along away from the village and enter the woods via a small fence across from Greenacre house. Walk towards th map pin along the top and you will pass the crags which lie directly parrallel to the road.
There has been no contact with landowners and permission has not been sought. Keep a low profile, do not damage or make needless changes to the area and clean the rock in a respectful way. The rock in the area can be quite loose and there are some death blocks lingering above in many cases.
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
