This concrete boulder is open to the public for free use at any time. It is ~3m high with more than 60 square metres of climbing features. The boulder is suitable for children 3 years old to adults and no experience or equipment is required. It can be enjoyed by novices and more experienced climbers through some strict eliminates!
Approach notes
In Rawcliffe Park, directly next to a free car park. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUNGSTERS playing on/around the boulder, older climbers will obviously be intimidating so don't approach the rock while it's occupied. Wait until children have left before approaching.
