Gloppedalen bouldering is located in Gloppedalsura and the surrounding beeches. Gloppedalsura is one of the biggest scree fields in northern Europe and is worth visiting even if just to drive through. On the most part the rock is fantastic. On the beech you won't need that many pads however if you want to boulder in the scree field it is advisable to bring spotters and pads!
From Stavanger it will be approximately an hours drive (~60km) and accessibility in winter might be limited depending on local road conditions.

Approach notes
It is very difficult to miss the boulder field. Parking can vary depending on which sector you want to climb in. There is plenty of parking off the road so please do not park in any way blocking the road.

Access to the beech is quite steep and in places loose so please take care when approaching.
