The overhangs and cave formations over the rocky platform of Cabo Espichel is a beautiful location with amazing routes. The area is usually sheltered from the prevailing northwest swells, but waves of up to 5m, together with the daily tidal variation, can result in massive water flows to the cliff and humid conditions. Strong wind from the north and east will contribute to drier holds.
Approach notes
From Sesimbra, follow the N379 towards Cabo Espichel.
