Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 12m a.s.l
Faces S
Steep good quality sandstone with mostly abseil access. The majority of routes are directly above the sea which can often be quite rough or have very large swells running. There is also fun bouldering above non tidal platforms and some shorter non tidal routes west of the main cliff.
Green Cape is remote bushland in the extreme south east of NSW, approached on the Princes Highway and just south of Eden. Turn off the Highway onto Edrom Road. After a short distance turn right onto an unsealed road and drive towards Green Cape Lighthouse, suitable for 2WD, turning right at the sign for City Rock. A short distance down this (worst) part of the road, a small car park and pit toilet are reached. A well trodden footpath leads from the carpark to the rocks in 10 minutes.
No access problems.
