A stand-alone boulder below with a range of problems on it from 6B to 7C+.
After passing the cable car station drive past the parking area on your left and follow the road as it curves right. Below some tall trees is a small gravel lay-by (tour buses often park just in front of it). Park here, cross the road to the barrier and you will see the boulder about 150m away down the slope.
NOTE: at present (2017) the boulder is easy to view as a couple of years ago a bushfire wiped out surrounding vegetation, if trees etc. grow back it may be harder to see. The easiest path down is to follow the road another 15-20m just before the next bend you will find the vague semblance of a path that leads to the boulder.
This area is prone to bush fires so do not smoke or cook there. There isn't an official path down there so be careful of the feynbos (native fauna) when approaching. Muggings do from time-to-time occur in the area, though generally in more secluded parts of the mountain, it is recommended to go with a partner and during the day.
