A good alternative to the scree path. The obvious craggy headwall of the coire, to the right of the scree path up to the main bealach. The scramble is divided roughly into two sections of steep climbing on rock well broken-up with slightly sloping ledges. The upper buttress is somewhat steeper and features poor holds which are often sloping and greasy. The line finds the easiest route up the crag; on the upper buttress this is somewhat to the left. The crux is an awkward mantleshelf move in an exposed position, after which the climbing is easier.
