Rockfax Description
An adventurous route requiring precise gear placement. Climb easily past two grassy ledges and past an overhang and up thin cracks to a triangular niche. Bridge left under the lip (loose rock above) into a small groove and then up to a ledge. Move up again to an other ledge below the midway overhang. Traverse right and pull over at a thin crack on to the face above. Climb directly up the face and make bold moves over the final overhang. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
An adventurous route requiring precise gear placement.
Start in the middle of the front face of Icarus tower to the right of the free standing block.
Climb easily past two grassy ledges then continue up the right overhang following thin cracks slightly rightwards to a triangular niche.
Bridge across left under the lip (loose rock above) into a small groove and onto the first big ledge.
Climb the corner on slightly overhanging ledges to a large platform at the horizontal wall at half way.
Traverse rightwards to the overhang and pull over at a thin crack on the triangular face above. Climb directly through to the last ledge of Icarus.
Boldly pull straight through the last overhang for an exposed finish.

(This route can be climbed at E1 5a using the Icarus direct finish).
