From the main car park before the castle take the path directly behind it. Take the left at the top of that & follow it to the viewpoint that has a council bin beside it. You’ll see a path leading up the hill to the right. Follow that until you reach a distinctive arch of a tree covered in Ivy, with a chossy boulder directly ahead. There’s a small path to the left directly after the arch, where you’ll find the boulder. Start left hand on arête, left foot up & traverse right to obvious topout. Probably easier if you’re taller.
