Given T5 in the SAC guide, with a secure 5m chimney to gain the summit warranting UIAA II.

The shortest approach is from the north, parking is available for several cars at pt.1060m at the end of the narrow road going south from Obstalden, finally Hüttenberge.

Back down the road a few meters, a path heads south towards Robmen at 1753m. Just before reaching Robmen take the steep grassy slope to the west, leading to the wide grassy gully (grade 1 scramble) that opens the way to Ober Bigaas, 1900m, where the eastern corrie is revealed. Descend shortly the scree field on the left hand side and ascend to the rocky buttress Mittlechopf at 2030m: the steep central dirt / scree field is best for ascent (the descent is better on the left hand side, in the going down sense, due to the scree surfing possibilities).

Continue almost to the head of the corrie at 2200m where the main difficulties begin. Ascend a grassy slope on the right on good steps. At the top turn left into the face and follow a clear path a few meters up a pair of short gullies, at the top step delicately right across the top of the gullies. Follow the rocky, grassy slope steeply up reasonable steps to a col, 3S, crux.

Walk / scramble more easily now up and right towards the summit ridge with a few cairns to follow. At the final steepening, an obvious short chimney (II) leads via the right wall almost immediately to the summit.
