Rockfax Description
II, 200m. A good, easy access pleasure climb behind the refuge. The climbing is classic granite style on cracks and slabs.
1) 5c, 30m. Follow the crack on the left of the slab (under the snow in the picture).
2) 4b, 40m. Follow ledges to the base of a large slab.
3) 5c, 45m. Climb the crack and then the chimney to a belay below a roof.
4) 5c. 45m. Pass the roof on the left and then climb the crack above to a belay on a ledge.
5) 5b, 40m. Climb the easier crack systems above.
6) 4b, 20m. Climb to the summit passing some bolts as you go. © Rockfax
