Rockfax Description
IV, 300m. There have been a number of major rockfalls around the original start to the route and as such, information about where the route goes is scarce and unreliable. We've given this information mainly for historical reference rather than because we are confident in its accuracy or recommending that you actually do it.
Just before reaching Col Moore, climb the snow bay to reach the foot of the rock buttress at the bottom of the spur. Cross onto the west side of the ridge and follow a vague ledge system to where the ground steepens significantly. At the this point, move right onto the ridge crest and follow it over mixed ground (nothing harder than 4c) to join the Güssfeldt Start. © Rockfax
