The original ascent was that described later as 'Pin Up' (See 'Civetta (Pin-Up)' on this UKC logbook).
Civetta description varies between the various guidebooks. Paul Williams' Snowdonia Rock followed the 'pin up' route but later guides (CC-82, CC-2002, and Panton's latest) vary in description along with the grade.
