290m. At a height of 290m (965ft) Largo Law is the largest and most distinctive hill in East Fife, commanding excellent views over Fife, the Firth of Forth, and the Lothians beyond. The hill has three tops. The distinctive top that gives the hill its conical aspect from the main road (283m) is not the true summit. The summit lies behind this, slightly to the north. There is also "Craig Rock"(231m) which forms a satelite top on the hills east flank. Largo Law is a remnant of the core of a volcano which was active between 300 - 350 million years ago ... or in other words ... A denuded volcanic neck dating from the carboniferous era. Take a wander up there, it's lovely.
