I am a Rock Guide who can guide Nationwide and would also like to offer Guided trips worldwide

• Multipitch Rock Guiding- This could be climbing your first multipitch or a guided rock ascent. If you would like to do something like Dream Of White Horses It is always preferable to have a day in preparation in a less adventurous setting to be able to assess ability. Or at least a little get to know you before!

• Rock Climber Improvement Courses- this would be based in the Peak District focusing on basic skills in a single pitch environment. This would include learning how to tie in, belay, read the guidebook, learn how to rock climb. I would be leading everything to give you the best idea of how to go traditional Rock climbing in the UK which will give you a good foundation and be able to put into context how a rock climbing journey works.

• Learn to Lead I would build skills up appropriately to your experience and skill level and then would decide the best way to get you on the Sharp end. This works best as a 2:1 ratio with me teaching by the side of you.

• Scrambling. This could be to enjoy the freedom of going scrambling in the UK or preparing you for an Alpine Trip. As a member of the British Mountain Guides I would be able to refer you to a fully qualified IFMGA guide if you are wanting to climb an alpine summit or route. I would be able to prepare you very well and give you a good indication of what is needed for your objective and to match you to your fully qualified Alpine Guide there are tonnes of legends here https://www.bmg.org.uk/find-a-guide/

• Self Rescue course. I would be able to show you the fundamentals of self rescue which will include practical skills and being able to tie off a plate, escape the system, counterbalance abseil, hoisting techniques. I aim to give you the fundamentals before going to a crag and practicing this for real with the safety of a rope above!

• Guided Classic and Hard Rock routes

My day rate is £300 for Rock Guiding in the UK for 1:1/2:1 ratio. I only do group work on special occasions for families this is the same day rate. I am more than happy to talk about different plans and more than happy to help. Any sort of corporate group or School work will be most likely be referred onto a bigger organisation able to deal with the numbers/insurance/licensing and accommodation.
