Nestling in the shadow of the Mont Blanc range, this (semi-detached) chalet was fully reconstructed on the site of an old, ruined alpine farmhouse. It offers modern, spacious accommodation on 3 floors and is furnished to a high standard.

It features a fitted, contemporary kitchen, exposed beams, mezzanine overlooking the living area, cosy furnishings and ample space for an extended family or group stay.  For outdoor activity enthusiasts there is a large, secure garage where equipment can be stored.

Situated in the authentic and traditional ski resort of Les Contamines Montjoie, the chalet sits right on the walking tour of Mont Blanc and gives easy access on foot to the spectacular walks in this enclosed and unspoilt valley.

The chalet is a very short (5 minutes approximately) drive to the well-known crag at Bionnassay UKC Logbook - Bionnassay (ukclimbing.com) and at La Villette UKC Logbook - La Villette (ukclimbing.com). Towards the end of the valley in the beautiful surroundings of Notre Dame de la Gorge is La Duchère crag which in the winter months becomes an ice climb UKC Logbook - La Duchère (ukclimbing.com), and is about 10 minutes by car.

Of course Les Contamines is also the starting point for the ascension of the Domes de Miage and other high peaks on the Mont Blanc range.

The village centre is only a 10-minute walk away and has plenty of shops, restaurants and well-stocked supermarkets. During the winter season the free ski bus stops across the road. The chalet also has a south-facing garden terrace for those summer barbeques and lazy, sun-filled afternoons.
