Up to 10m lead/toprope walls, plus bouldering using resin and featured panels with bolt-ons. Separate bouldering skyloft and save. Own built in 1993, constant upgrading since. 350 sq m of wall surface. Changing facilities, lecture room. Gear hire, courses available.
"Mixed resin and ply system.great variety of routes. Large slab ideal for novices, overhangs, roofs, gritstone groove, jamming cracks, laybacks oh and bolt-ons; the place continues to develop because we get bored! Over 200 routes up to British 6b/c. If not the biggest, then probably the friendliest wall." [Ian Walton 2/01 - slightly biased as he built it.]
Closed down in 2006, replaced by a new wall in Southsea near Wrexham.

Very friendly wall. Small and compact. Gradings have been placed and good routes. Only set back is that when I was climbing there the routes were not changed in the 10months of me climbing there so loses marks on that score.
