What You Have To Do?
Film or have filmed a short climbing or mountaineering clip, it could be of your mate leading or even a short piece acted by a whole troupe of climbers, the brief is wide open, it could be a clip of beautiful mountain scene with an environmental theme, the ascent of a boulder problem, a fall, or a funny sketch. It's up to you, but it must be your own work.
This is the oddest competition ever! After the closing date you've suddenly extended the entry period by six weeks; or is this just a continuously rolling date? It's very offputting and calls into question the ethics of all your competitions. I'd like an explanation please.
On the other hand Neil's video is great and makes some striking points.
I was a little disapointed about the date being extended by so much, I rushed to get my film made and in before i went on my trip, and on return find i could have 6 more weeks, I could have planned and filmed my clip a little better if only i had known
It is our first film competition. We found the original entry period was too short for most people. So we decided to extend it to give more people a chance.
In future film competitions will be open for a minimum of two months.
