Next Friday, 29th February sees the start of
The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival,
ShAFF, now in its third year, which aims to bring together the best of the films shown at the best of the festivals, new films that have not yet been screened, and old favourites.
This year they are showing 14 World Premieres, photos from Ian Parnell, a live interview between Gordon Stainforth and festival patron Joe Simpson, an orienteering race and a bargain zone hosted by sponsors Decathlon.
There will be a party on the Saturday night hosted by the Climbing Works at nearby Workstation.

QUICK COMPETITION - With a catch!
Matt Heason, founder and organiser of
ShAFF likes his competitions and feedback from us and here is one last chance to win a ticket to
ShAFF. No you don't have to work out what
one plus one equals as many climbing competitions ask these days to attempt to get a huge response.
Matt wants to know what you'd ike to see at future
ShAFF's, a sentence will do, or maybe even two or three. You must do this before before 5pm on Monday 25th February.
Email your thoughts to
info@shaff.co.uk and Matt will draw one response at random and that person will win a weekend pass to the event.
Here is the catch!
After the event the winner will need to send Matt a 500+ word review of the festival which will be published alongside images from PixelWitch.
