In reply to Bunchuk: I like the Explosions in the Sky soundtrack, the belaying was "interesting" on the first fall? Guy seemed to almost deck whereas on the second he fell about half the distance... Very low key and slightly bizare video, not that that's a bad thing.
 Bunchuk 25 Sep 2008
In reply to Sankey:

In fairness, he was higher above the belayer on the second fall, doesn't that reduce the fall factor and thus the amount the rope stretches?

In reply to Bunchuk:

could it not have just been the fact that it was a different gear placement?

In reply to Mick Ryan - UKClimbing.com:

Nice - got a wistful warmth to it, involving, helped by the music, but also has a 'Living For the Weekend' feel to it, one of my favourite climbing videos of all time.
 Bunchuk 25 Sep 2008
I was a bit annoyed about how the quality came out from the youtube compression, however if you go to the video on youtube.com/watch?v=1e0r5GO9GLE& there is the option to watch it in high quality which makes the film alot better!

Sheeit, that clip about Strawberries was doing it for me. The way they got the angles and colouring set up so it looked just like the shots from Extreme Rock. And the commentary about why onsighting is so much harder really worked.
 Sankey 29 Sep 2008
In reply to miss_chief09: My bad, gear was higher the second time.
