The 2015 Everest season looks set to end prematurely in the aftermath of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake of 25th April which killed at least 19 climbers on the mountain and over 7,000 people in the wider area affected by the disaster.
Is it just me or does the "For the first time since 1974 - with the north side closed and the icefall destroyed - it looks as though no-one will summit Mt. Everest this year." - read as a challenge?
