Has anyone got a Via Ferrata Lanyard or two they would be willing to sell?

Where are you heading? I found them quite a bit less expensive to buy (and with a lot more availability) around the Alps. You can rent too, but for anything more than a day or two it made more sense to buy.

As an aside your kids will almost certainly be beneath the weight limit for the lanyards and should be short roped instead.

Yes, thanks. We are going to be doing the east routes which don’t have much vertical fall potential. They are going to use the lanyards, and I will belay on a short rope whenever there is fall potential.

That should read easy routes!
