Ditch the other photo. This is a real cracker! Everything in the picture works. Light, composition, action, background. Well done.

Nice to see a non-alpine shot in the Top 10 for a change :-)

photo of the month !

Photo of the month for me. Absolutely superb, and I'm not into bouldering - love the precise position of fingers and feet right on the edge of something seemingly almost holdless and mysterious...

the lighting is perfect , the composition stunning , well done . was this with a seperate flash unit? or photoshop burning ?

hi guys, thanks for the comments, i appreciate the feedback. i had a remote flash to the left of frame. I only really tweaked the contrast in ps. the sun had dropped below a small hill behind the camera, hence deep shadow on foreground but some light still on further mountains.

Must admit most bouldering photos rarely inspire or even seem vaguley interesting but that one is quite something.

This is my current desktop and will be for some time. This image is right up there, please let me know if you can do me a framed print of this photo - I will pay you good money for it!
Failing that, an unframed print?
