Looks fun! Mad dash in on early hrs Sat, or in on Fri?

Left the car at 0145 early hrs of Sat! Bikes were useless. Only got a few miles then trudged through the snow all the rest of the way. 14 hrs car to car. Long day but superb climbing.

Still reckon you must have been climbing quite fast to get in and out in that time in heavy conditions. How does the route compare technically with a N. Corries V,6?

Hi Jamie
We were about 4 and a half hrs to the route, 5 hrs on it and another 4 and a half getting out. The climbing was never sustained but had interest on every pitch to the top. I think V,6 is spot on. All the hard bits were fairly short but worth a 6. We found the splintered chimney to be the crux. Although the day was fairly wild the route was in good nick with some neve, some useful ice on slabs, frozen turf and not too much powder!
