I really can't work out what's going on with that friend! It looks like it's in a ghost crack!

The friend is in a pocket to the left of the crack - that's how it looks in both negatives taken at the time. It was of dubious value and must be the one referred to in the Rockfax guide as "poor" and of "psychological value".
